Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut has been crowned the Most Valuable Player by HLTV.org and 1xBet after a fantastic performance at BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. The French superstar finally claimed a Major trophy and was the main star throughout his team's win on home soil. Vitality's AWPer performed impeccably in the final and his output was enough to rise above the likes of Mihai "iM" Ivan and teammate Lotan "Spinx" Giladi in the race for the MVP medal. The only other contender for the award was Martin "stavn" Lund, but HEROIC's loss in the semi-final put an end to his short-lived claim. ![]() The 22-year-old was a consistent performer throughout the tournament and secured his place at the top of several statistics such as rating 2.0 (1.39), KPR (0.89), and KAST (78%). ZywOo's numbers never saw the red at the Major, with his lowest map rating being 1.20 on Vertigo against Into the Breach before posting his highest score on the following map at 1.70. He also topped the charts for KD-diff (+92) and ![]() ZywOo was also a key opener for Vitality as he registered a total of 44 opening frags (#2) with a 0.16 average per round (#4), showing that he could find impact in any phase of the game. This is ZywOo's 15th MVP medal of his career, and the first one claimed at a Valve-sponsored event.
